8 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- work study balance Program was intense but prepared me very well for a career as a Nurse practitioner. I believe our class had 100% pass rate on accreditation testing. I found my own preceptors and clinical locations but help was available if you had difficulty finding locations. A couple of my classmates utilized the assistance and had great clinical experiences. I was able to work full time while completing the courses but it was very difficult. I had saved up a lot of PTO in preparation so I was able to take time off during classes if that makes sense. - Alum
- Happy overall Classes at WSU overall prepared me for my certification exam. Probably like most advanced degree programs today, I had to find all my own preceptorships but being an older student, had many professional contacts so truly not all that hard . Loved my fellow peers and would recommend WSU - Alum
- Good program needing some continued tweaking Achieving primary care preceptorship was very difficult. The instructors tried very hard but the program needs continued revision for the best educational opportunities. I recommend more live case studies, more help securing preceptorships, and organization. - Alum

- Great program This program was very intense but prepared me extremely well for boards as well as caring for acute, critically ill patients. Dr Kristine Scordo was a great role model and excellent professor for this program. Work life balance was hard as the program was very demanding but it was manageable. I highly recommend this program! - Alum
