- Think twice The preceptors were not great and the faculty left much to be desired. - Alum
- Review if program MSU Good program overall. I feel I was well prepared for my exams and future jobs. The program seemed little disorganized at that time. - Alum
- It was a excellent program with hand-on training Precepted clinicals were completed handled by a dedicated clinical placement coordinator. you give them your top 3 picks and she tries to accommodate you to find sites in your area. No need to even email your preceptor until the clinical placement has been completely arranged. You get notification of your placement with a suggestion to email your assigned preceptor to discuss his/her availability for clinicals. You get a professor visit to each of your clinical sites every semester to verify that you are getting the intended training and not some inappropriate use of the the NP student.] They have live people to act as patients to provide a real life clinic visit... including gender sensitive exams. I did a pelvic and a prostate exam during my program with the professor right there to guide me. I was amazed at how much effort and thought was put in providing us with a great program. Read the stats, 100% graduate pass rate for certification boards. competitive admissions - Alum
- Decent I was able to maintain a work/life balance while still getting a good education - Alum
