- Work and school balance Working fulltime and school full-time was stressful. I like to see more program flexibility to adapt to the working nurse Overall the program was comprehensive and prepared me to take boards and practice - Alum
- Extremely Professional I have nothing but excellent things to say about TWU. All of my professors/ clinical advisors were extremely knowledgeable and professional. They all went above and beyond to make sure our graduating class were prepared/equipped for the real NP world. TWU is an excellent program if you are looking for a work/life balance…..They are highly aware that many of their undergraduates entering into the Masters program are working individuals. I never had to worry about finding a preceptor or finding time to study because the Resources were always available. TWU also produce productive NPs -they will push you to do your very best, and they hire the best instructors. They want to see you succeed…. TWU DEFINITELY helped to prepare me for the real NP world and the board certification exam. I am Forever grateful .. - Alum
- I got scholarships. Very dedicated teachers. I stopped working once I was in clinicals so I would not overwhelm myself, and I had an oppertunity to absorb the materials. - Alum
- Great School for NP The workload was manageable while working full time (3 12s). We had support through our program in getting paired with a clinical preceptor, so meeting the required clinical hours was not as stressful. However, you have the opportunity to pick your own sites as well. - Alum
- PNP Program at TWU - Houston Campus PNP program was excellent at the Houston Campus, we had very skilled and professional instructors. The clinical sites were readily available and helped prepare me to be a PNP. - Alum
