5 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- Some good Instructors, Overall Not Great The institution itself wasn’t very good. The teachers were part time and didn’t take their role seriously or know how to explain various topics. Some were good. Lots and lots of writing with little direction from the staff. - Alum
- Reasonable and good value My program was disjointed, but was likely due to COVID 19 cancelling in person clinical hours in person. Thereafter it was difficult to find a placement and you need to obtain it yourself. Expect to pay out of pocket to obtain placements. - Alum
- A bit pricey It was nice that it was online, but i didn't feel prepared because they focused more on writing papers rather than actually teaching how to be great NPs. - Alum
- My experience I had to engage in a significant amount of independent study. While some professors were excellent, others didn't seem to enhance my educational experience as much. Fortunately, I didn't have to worry about clinical costs since the school covered them. Overall, it was a satisfactory experience. - Alum
- Would not recommend Whenever I had questions or concerns, it was almost impossible to reach any instructors or nursing department staff. Their idea of providing preceptors is giving me telehealth assignments where a group of students would sit in the background having minimal to no interaction with patients. I actually paid out-of-pocket for preceptors so I could get actual patient care experience, because what the program offered me was a joke. I felt like I had to teach myself everything so I could pass the boards, and thank God I found a post-grad fellowship so I could actually learn how to be a NP. Would not recommend this program at all. - Alum
