- It was an intense program The FNP program was intense, however it prepared us well for the “real world”. It also provided us excellent guidance for the boards. - Alum
- Best hybrid NP program in NYS The best hybrid NP programs in NYS, well tailored, required 1 -2 on campus days per semester. The trained standardized patients and their clinical simulation center are A++. The Professors took the time to check in, provided feedback and they ensured you succeed. Certification exam prep. recommended by the program was not particularly helpful, there are better ones on the market which were far more thorough. - Alum
- You Get Out of it What You Put into It Majority of the program is remote. You are responsible for finding your own preceptor. That being said, the program has good guardrails to help you succeed as long as you put in the work and effort. This program is designed for students that enjoy independent work and are able to pace themselves without micromanagement. - Alum
- No support. Had to teach myself and find my own cl No support. Had to teach myself and find my own clinicals. Was told if I didn’t understand the material, ask someone else in the class, but they didn’t understand either. - Alum
- Solid Education The program was a solid choice and was cost-effective. The faculty were supportive and made the work challenging but doable. I learned the most from my clinical experience which I had to find myself, the only downside of the program. The technology for the online distance education component was manageable for the average student. - Alum
