• Stoney Brook I was in the 1st pediatric NP class. I don't believe the school was prepared for the amount of students that were registered. The courses were well prepared but professors rarely returned emails before the semester was complete. I did not receive any assistance in obtaining a position after graduation. I do recommend Stoney Brook and hopefully the load work for professors have been leveled - Alum
• Excellent for Nursing education This school provided excellent education for FNP track. Learning with a group provided input from all members and I was able be able to work during my time at Stony Brook through distance learning. • DNP Prepared Nurse Practitioners The Post Masters DNP program at Stony Brook was an excellent program. The faculty were well developed and all the guest speakers and course outlines fulfilled their goals of student education. I believe this program is one of the best around as we were able to complete actual research for our DNP projects. This enabled students to truly understand the doctoral level criteria which elevated each project to the PhD level. This is OPPOSED to what other post masters DNP programs across the US which only allow students to perform "quality improvement" projects. I would highly recommend the Stony Brook post masters DNP program to anyone who wants a high quality program. - Alum

• PMHNP program at Stony Brook Entire program was on line and very manageable. I was already a FNP so I did not have to take a few of the classes. - Alum
