6 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- Baylor DNP Progam is Amazing! I can not speak highly enough of the education I received at Baylor. Every professor was there to further our education and help every student in any way needed. I felt fully prepared to take boards and begin the next step of my career. - Alum
- Go bears 💚💛 I will always be thankful for my time at Baylor. It completely changed the trajectory of my life. It prepared me thoroughly for my new role as a nurse practitioner. Now as a preceptor I also see a difference between my students from different schools and Baylor comes out on top - Alum
- Excellent program overall There was a strong emphasis on the evangelical christian aspects of the school, especially abroad (which was problematic for me personally). Prospective students must be aware of this before attending. Overall however, I received a strong education. I felt prepared to work in a busy FQHC in a very busy US city because of the hands on-in person education I received, 7 years after becoming and working as an RN. At the time over a decade ago now, finding clinical preceptors was largely left to the students but it seemed to work out. - Alum
- Excellent cohort size. Program director amazing. Highly recommend Baylor’s NP program. I went years ago, so I’m sure it’s changed some, but I’m sure the heart of it is still the same. My program was very focused on the underserved and we even went overseas for 3 weeks for clinical. - Alum
- Good preparation for graduation Excellent clinical sites and supportive staff. Preceptors did a good job with balancing time out of the classroom and I was able to work part time during the program. - Alum
