32 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- Masters I enjoyed the program. I had relationships with a couple of professors outside of school. - Alum
- I passed the boards on the first try I felt I was well prepared for the boards. The positives end there. As I was basically on my own throughout the whole program with the didactic portion as well as the clinical portion. It is doable and requires less to get in, but you make up for it with other headaches once you are in the program. - Alum
- South university I had to find my own preceptors but it wasn’t that difficult since I have been in area awhile and worked as RN for 12 years prior to going back to school. I recommend this school, the class work was manageable and professors were helpful. I only worked part time while attending school as I also had small kids. The cost of the school was also good. I am so happy I went back to obtain my FNP. - Alum
- Best for RNs with experience in clinical areas. The academic work was all online in the first year-nursing theory, research, pharmacology, etc. The second year was focused on academic and clinical work. We had to find and secure our own preceptors with the school paying a token amount to them. As preceptors can be hard to find I had to pay a broker and move to the Atlanta area for the bulk of my clinical time. This amounted to all but 3 of the courses and brokers fee was $3500 per course placement. - Alum
- South U Much like other online programs in which you have to teach yourself. Wish their were more lectures and wish they helped with finding preceptors - Alum
