• Saint Mary’s Review I was able to continue working full time during this program, mostly because I controlled the schedule at work and had flexibility. Professors were great, small class sizes so each student got a more personalized experience. Very supportive with assisting with preceptor placements if students were unable to place themselves. - Alum
• DNP Experience Saint Mary's College I was able to work full time for the first 2 years of the program, and I worked PRN for the last 2 years. There was no assistance provided to find preceptors, but my place of employment was helpful with providing me a list of contacts. I did not have to pay for any of my preceptors. - Alum
• Highly recommend this hybrid DNP program This program allowed me to continue working part time as it is primarily online with one visit to campus each semester. The workload was manageable including clinical hours. I had great faculty support to complete my final DNP project. This program allows you to complete clinical hours near your home which allowed students to enroll from all over the country. I highly recommend this program if you are looking for a hybrid model to complete your DNP. - Alum
• SMC FNP-DNP program review SMC helped me find preceptors approximately twice, otherwise I had to secure my own preceptors which added tremendous stress on my life. I worked full time the first half of my program. For the second half, I worked part time and eventually reducing to PRN hours. Working on DNP project while completing clinical hrs was challenging, however that is the nature of FNP/DNP school unless DNP project is initiated after clinical hrs are done (which some schools do, I believe). I felt supported by my professors as they were accommodating to my personal needs affecting school schedule. I enjoyed my professors. - Alum
