Ratings & Reviews §
7 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- Good value, decent education As with most lesser-cost programs, no help was provided in securing internships, so finding rotations was one of the most stressful parts of this program. The quality of your preceptors definitely impacts your education. To succeed in these online/hybrid programs, you do need to be a self-starter - for a few classes, I was given page assignments, brief recorded lectures, and exam dates. That said, I do feel I was prepared for the board exam as well as for clinical practice. - Alum
- Good Experience I found that the faculty was knowledgeable and accessible. I had support finding preceptors. I was able to continue working while completing my courses and clinical hours. - Alum
- I Bleed Blue! I earned all 3 of my degrees at the U of M. I love the campus, environment, and my professors! I absolutely loved and enjoyed the Master's program. It was for sure rigorous and harder than other programs from what I'm told but it prepared me to be one of the best Nurse Practitioners in my city! Def recommend! - Alum
- Overall, I had a positive experience at U of M. U of M’s program prepared me for a rewarding career. As most NP programs, each student is responsible to secure their own clinical preceptorships. This program adequately prepared me for certification and securing a job In the field I was most interested. - Alum
