Prepared me well for my first role as an NP
This program prepared me well to pass my certification exam and find a job upon graduation. We had support through our program in getting paired with a clinical preceptor, so meeting the required clinical hours was not a stressful experience.

Overall a good program
UNCC found all the preceptors/placements, which helped a lot. The coursework was probably pretty standard and did help with a lot of foundational knowledge. The pharmacology class was taught by a pharmacist and was very thorough. Overall I wish it was a bit more rigorous, however for a nurse practitioner program it was a lot better then other schools. It did prepare us well for the certification exam.

Wonderful support from entire team. Well prepared for role. Well prepared for Certification for FNP. Faculty was available to mentor all students. I was able to work and attend classes and meet my clinical goals. Great school.
