5 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- Good program, bad leadership Overall a comprehensive in person program which I really liked. A few of the professors in leadership really tainted the experience. They were very punitive. - Alum
- UCI is great! Excellent experience at UCI. Small classes which allowed a more personal relationship between staff and students. They provide clinicals (student doesn't have to find their own clinical sites) - Alum
- Great Experience The professors were excellent at teaching the material as well as nurturing students in our individual growth. Well prepared for family medicine practice. I had a job lined up before I started my program which is the only reason I put 4/5 stars for that question. Such a great program. - Alum
- Excellent Program The program at UCI was challenging and rewarding. I felt well-prepared to take board exams AGPCNP and going into my first job after graduation which was in nephrology. The instructors were all great- you can tell they enjoy teaching. I also appreciated the smaller class sizes, which allowed for more personalized learning. The program also coordinated all the clinical placements. I had the opportunity to rotate through various family medicine and specialty clinics. One of my favorite rotations was through Orange County Jail, as it was a unique and insightful learning experience. Overall, a challenging yet highly valuable program that I would recommend! - Alum
- I had a fantastic experience. Faculty were great! I was able to work during preceptorship, however it was difficult. They helped with appropriate placement where I could grow my skill. - Alum
