Worth the effort
Navigating the program at Valdosta, like my entire nursing school experience, was mostly self driven. Choosing courses, applying for schedules, and getting classroom feedback and guidance was self initiated. At the time of my education, we had to locate our own preceptors and locations were limited. A plus for the program was that in person classroom attendance was mostly weekend hours. Like most things that are a struggle to attain, it was worth the effort and had led to a satisfying career.

Schedule
The weekend option was a nice balance as this was a second degree for me. It gave me the option to work a routine job during the week and fulfill my schoolwork during the weekend.
