Flexible but thorough
I had the opportunity for hybrid where most of the courses were online with few on campus days. I found the program to be valuable and believe I was well prepared. I passed boards on the first try. It was rigorous at times, but not unmanageable. I was able to complete my degree while working part-time.

Excellent preparation for role as NP
The faculty and curriculum were 2 of the strongest facets at GSU DNP program. I recognized it very early in my working environment. The foundation I had at GSU was way ahead of that of other NPs who graduated from other programs. I was definitely prepared to integrate my education, both theoretically and clinically, in the workforce.

good for non-traditional students
Program was a blessing for the non-traditional student with classes offered in both day time and evening allowing me to continue to work while going to school

Great support! Extra help when needed. Educated professors who are driven to the excellent education and support. Someone like me with a family and working full-time I asked for more support and guidance nurse practitioner.
