- good for non-traditional students Program was a blessing for the non-traditional student with classes offered in both day time and evening allowing me to continue to work while going to school - Alum
- Best program in GA Great support! Extra help when needed. Educated professors who are driven to the excellent education and support. Someone like me with a family and working full-time I asked for more support and guidance nurse practitioner. - Alum
- Hybrid program Possible to complete while working. Instructors are helpful. - Alum
- GSU - BSN, MSN, DNP I have 18 years critical care (PCU, Post-Anesthesia, Interventional Radiology) nursing experience. Migrating into the MSN and DNP were natural developments of my career. However, there are many online programs that require nominal effort and yield poorly educated and prepared APRN's. The GSU online program is starkly different from the aforementioned. I had access to my professors who were courteous and responsive. I was able to practice my newly acquired skill set in local settings. And the preparation for National Certification was on par with my educational experience. - Alum
- Face to face instruction I was lucky in that my program was in person and not online. I had personal relationships with professors and had a very small class after the first quarter (significant drop out for various reasons). I had excellent support from all staff and administration. I was able to work 3 day weekends, and had scholarships, so no financial stress. The class load was strenuous, but it should be. - Alum
