- UTRGV PMHNP Post master The program is cost effective and efficient, it requires a lot of work outside of class. They do not help assist with placement for preceptorship so I recommend you have them set up prior to enrolling as the program goes fast! - Alum
- I felt highly stressed. Unfortunately, I felt extremely stressed throughout the program, poor faculty support, and it created a poor learning environment. Securing preceptor was entirely left to the student with minimal directive, therefore, some of my precepting opportunities were not ideal. - Alum
- UTRGV PMHNP UTRGV was a good program. The instructors are great with good response times. It is reasonably priced. The UTRGV program prepared me well to pass my certification exam. - Alum
- Hard but prepares you well Pros: cheap, really required you to know the material, prepares you for practice, RGV focus Cons: essentially a self taught program, very difficult and a lot of work, very little positive support from professors, had a “nurses eat their young” feel in regard to how students were treated - Alum
- Valuable program. Current experience and education level factored into the post-master's program. Very worthwhile. Able to work throughout the program. Preceptorship: Past preceptees were available at minimal cost (driving expense). - Alum
