- Online and local contact hours Did the coursework all online which was challenging enough. Found local preceptors for my contact hours, but did have difficulty finding preceptors. Overall a good experience. - Alum
- Well prepared for first NP position This program prepared me very well in order to be able to pass my certification exam and transition into my first job as a NP after graduation. Finding clinical placements can be difficult and I wish there was even more support provided by the program to make finding these placements a less stressful experience. Overall though, I would recommend this program to future applicants. - Alum
- Not good I taught myself everything. The instructors did not even prepare lessons themselves or educate. Very poorly run program. - Alum
- Great program Wonderful education and very affordable! I have considered getting my PMHNP as well through MTSU. - Alum
- Mediocre I would describe my experience at MTSU as mediocre. I did have some excellent didactic professors, and obtained some foundational knowledge. I had to secure my own clinical preceptors which was very difficult, and clinical sites were often rejected for not meeting their specific guidelines. There was no assistance obtaining an alternate clinical site when one was rejected. Preceptors they did approve often had many students and weren't very interested in teaching, they just wanted extra help with tasks in the clinic. Can't say I blame them since the school did not compensate for precepting. It was reasonably priced but I guess you get what you pay for. - Alum
