- MSN to ARNP at AHU My experience at AHU was overall great. It was affordable which was very, very important to me as a student with a family to support and a mortgage to pay and did not exceed my annual tuition reimbursement. Especially since I realized that my income as an NP would not be dramatically different from when I was an RN. I wish that we would have been allowed to do the on site clinicals. Only in-state students were allowed to do clinicals in their practices, and so I had to search for months for my own preceptor, and then I ended up having to pay to obtain clinical experiences. Again, since the tuition was low, this wasn't a huge deal, and I told myself it would just bring my tuition up to what many other students pay (even if they also have to search for preceptors in addition). In short, I'd recommend my school, and will probably go back there for my DNP. - Alum
