- Recommend USM I had a good experience in the program at USM. There was support available if needed and I had no difficulty finding preceptors. The experience precepting was priceless and I'm so glad to have been able to work in various settings as it broadened my scope overall. - Alum
- Experience Overall good experience. Program did feel a little disorganized and their were some issues with communication between instructors. Overall, program was doable while maintaining a full-time job and I did feel somewhat prepared for the career field once graduated. Did recieve help and transition with board sitting and certification process. Obtained a job in selected field. - Alum
- Best career move This program changed my life and provided me with skills needed to be competitive and versatile in the job market. Although my certification is in family practice, I’ve had jobs as a hospitalist as well as urgent care provider in addition to my primary care roles. - Alum
- Highly Recommend I was one of the lucky ones that was able to secure a preceptor. No help was provided. The program, itself, was great. There was flexibility, so I was able to continue working full time while completing my degree. I also felt prepared when I graduated. All in all, I would definitely recommend this program to anyone considering this path. - Alum
- USM preceptoship The school provided a very lengthy list of facilities and NP preceptors who accepted students. I was also able to network with friends who were already NP's to secure preceptorship. It was quite challenging in the specialty areas such as women's health. - Alum
