Great Expereince
This program was exactly what I needed for a post master's program. It was a good balance for me. I earned a lot and gained the skills I needed to be successful. My professors were supportive and encouraging. I would recommend this program to an adult learner.

I’m a PMHNP Thanks to My Advisor!
My PMHNP education was interrupted by multiple life events and I nearly gave up and withdrew to take a job as an RN surveyor. I’ll be forever grateful to my Washburn advisor for encouraging me to finish my degree and connecting me with a wonderful preceptor. Now, I have my dream job!

My Experience
The professors (except one) were compassionate, supportive, patient and lead with a strong desire to see you succeed. They were willing to spend 1:1 time with you if you needed extra help or if you were feeling overwhelmed. My time at Washbutn was during COVID and the US government and state restricted students in clinical settings. I had to pay a professional placement company to get my clinical time so this was not Washburn's fault. I would suggest only to consider where you.may do your rotations prior to entering the program, unless Wahburn has changed their format.
