• Hampton University FNP Program Wonderful learning environment. Dedicated instructors who are laser focused on helping students succeed. Great assistance in locating preceptors. Was well prepared to accept a position as a FNP upon graduation. Very well rounded program at a Historically Black College/University. - Alum

• Poor clinical experience Had to find our own preceptor, no assistance from school. Some instructors had noticeable lack of experience and knowledge in the subjects they taught. No instruction in skills like suturing, punch biopies or other simple biopsies,. No hospital experience. - Alum
• Preparation for Certification and Practice I found my own preceptor at no out of pocket charge. The program did not offer me any option of preceptorship. I did get the knowledge needed for preparation to pass my certification. The knowledge that I received from my preceptorship prepared me to practice as a FNP. - Alum
• Resourceful Very resourceful program . Provided supplemental training and valuable resources to help pass certification exam. Passed the first time. - Alum
