- UPENN has the Best School of Nursing DNP program does not require preceptor. However, I completed MScN-PMHNP program and the school provided preceptors for the program. In the Post Master's DNP program, we were only 12 students, and we had over 24 teachers that were always available. it's the best school I ever attended! I was well prepared to pass my certification in one attempt. - Alum
- Amazing Program I have a masters and a post masters from U Penn and I can’t recommend it enough. The professors were amazing, experienced, and caring. Lectures were engaging. I felt prepared to practice and I passed my exam on the first try (my entire cohort did). I made good friends along the way. Excellent program, the best!! - Alum
- Expensive but worth the cost When looking to pursue my Masters I knew I wanted a “brick and mortar” program as I don’t do well with online. Penn was pricey, but I found that it was #1 for a reason. The education was thorough, the clinical experiences were top notch, and I transitioned into practice seamlessly. This has been re-affirmed every time I interact with peers. No regrets whatsoever. - Alum
- It’s in the Name I did not work but I know others who did just fine. I never had to pay for a preceptorship and the school found them all for me. Very easy. The degree opened all the doors for me I wanted. The only negative is I don’t feel the program prepared me for a job. I wish they spent more time on each body system. It took me awhile to catch up. - Alum
- University of Pennsylvania ACNP Program The University of Pennsylvania’s Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program is widely regarded as a high-quality, rigorous program with a strong national reputation. It is known for its academically demanding curriculum, emphasis on evidence-based practice, and close integration with Penn Medicine’s tertiary and quaternary clinical environments, which provides trainees exposure to complex, high-acuity patient care. Graduates are generally very well prepared in advanced clinical decision-making, interdisciplinary collaboration, and leadership roles in acute and critical care settings. - Alum
