42 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- Recommend Regis' online NP pgm, but be prepared Regis' online NP program was in its second year when I started in January 2017. The Pros of the online program prepared me well for zoom/Teams platforms that exist today due to the transitioned care model during the pandemic. Faculty communicated well to help address students' concerns. The Cons included managing the overwhelming workload with two young children, ailing family members, and working full-time. It was a challenge to practice time management and find a preceptor. - Alum
- It was okay I had a great experience doing my FNP but my college didn't offer PMHNP so I chose Regis College. It was not very organized and the lack of faculty help was frustrating. They do nothing to help you with clinical placement and they changed programs on how to log hours and lost my hours completed prior to switching. I would like to do my DNP but it won't be at Regis. - Alum
- Fast and Effective I completed their Direct-entry accelerated 3 years nonstop BSN-FNP program for candidates who held a non-nursing bachelors degree. It was fast, brutal, but a great program. You need to be independent, self-directed, and ready to put your life on hold. I worked full-time, and did clinicals while in school. BSN took 18 months. I worked as a med-surg nurse for 9 months at a city level 1 trauma hospital while still in school and completing MSN portion. You do have the choice to take 1 year off to work then come back to complete the MSN. I felt prepared after graduation. I was able to secure a hospitalist position after graduation. I eventually did a post-masters hold an AGACNP as well. Been working now in the field 20years. I still maintain my FNP and have worked on mission trips abroad, worked as an NP doing home visits, and on mobile clinics. I love the flexibility. - Alum
- Terrible experience. It was a terrible experience, and I recommend not going here. Poor organization, mixed messages, and poor assistance with preceptorships. Also, they were not flexible with types of psych settings to learn from. - Alum
- Average NP school I feel that the program prepared me for my role as an NP, the program could have integrated more clinical and less writing skills focus. The only concern that I have with this program (not much different from other programs) is the clinical placement. I had to sit out a semester due to lack of clinical placement, eventually I have found some friends that helped me. For the exam, I took an outside course to get prepared and pass. Overall not a bad program. - Alum
