• A great place to fulfill your NP goals You feel valued. Excellent education with experienced professors. - Alum
• Great Program I had a good experience at Dominican when I got my MSN-FNP. The teachers were very accommodating when I had not one, but TWO children during the program and I was allowed to bring my newborns in to nurse during class when they were too little to leave at home with dad. I was able to attend the program part time the entire time, taking one class at a time, which was the only way I could get my degree as I was working and had my last two children (already had two kids at home-I have four children total) while in program. The program is rigorous and I felt well prepared for work after graduation. The instructors were always available for questions and clarification. You do have to find your own clinicals, but that's the same with every program. Even the ones that say they help or do it for you have trouble placing students. The only preceptor expenses I had were gifting my preceptors after the clinical rotation, but that's not required, it's just a nice way to say thank you. - Alum
• NP School Dominican College is by far one of the most supportive and organized institution that I have attended throughout my healthcare career. During my time there, I had several personal challenges and the professors were eager to help me manage. Their compassionate approach created a safe environment for me to learn and obtain the skills needed in order to succeed in any clinic setting. - Alum
• Education good except for finding my own preceptor Was very difficult to find preceptors , but was very lucky to find good preceptors with the help of my friends at Pace university - Alum
