- York was a great learning environment I really enjoyed my time at York. It gave me lots of solid experience in my chronic illness management that has held me in good stead. I also learned so much about how to get the best of my mentors. I still have a relationship with them so many years later. I was prepared for my boards. I would definitely recommend it. We were paired with clinical sites and instructors which made academic life much more manageable My only area of concern is as follows. There was very little diversity in the program and no real understanding of barriers that minorities may face in interacting with the health care system. It was hard to be heard when making suggestions that may shed light on institutional barriers and disparities. - Alum
- NP program We had a good variety of places to precept and experienced preceptors available. I was well prepared for my first role as an NP. - Alum
- Excellent I felt that I was well prepared. I got great training and the classes were very small which made learning easier - Alum
