- Great experience The campus was able to find me a preceptor for my clinical requirements. The school prepared me well for my certificate exam. - Alum
- Unique experience When I enrolled in the program some COVID restrictions were still being observed. It was difficult and stressful to get clinical placement on my own. This was the biggest barrier as there was no placement assistance from the school yet at that time. I also had to pay a couple of preceptors which was very pricey. The PMHNP program was fairly new at that time and I was just in the 3rd cohort. There were quite a few disorganization within the program. I heard from another colleague though that the program has improved. She had a better clinical experience. - Alum
- Students are just numbers Education was basic. It’s meant ti get you in and out with a passing grade but whether you get anything out of it is completely up to you. If you put the work in, you’ll succeed. But if you don’t, you’ll still pass without learning a thing. - Alum
- I learned a lot in my school hands on skills lab, My experience for doing a head to toe assessment using a live human not a maniquin helps me a lot in my practice. It shape my knowledge and skills and I become more confident performing as an NP in sleep now urgent care with my suturing skills I learned from my skills lab. - Alum
- Great ROI Small class sizes with highly experienced instructors with vast backgrounds and foundational knowledge. The program offers a solid foundation but success ultimately depends on what you put into it. This is not a passive program - you must be self motivated and proactive in your learning. The quality of your experience ultimately comes down to how much time you invest, thoughtful questions and delving into case studies. For the price of the degree the program is totally worth it. You need discipline, motivation, stamina, and to be intentional about maximizing your clinical experiences. You will be well prepared but it is certainly not given, it is earned. - Alum
