- Unprofessional, waste of time UT Houston was not a well-run NP program. The class content was juvenile (design your own IV pump) and the professors treated us like children. It was disorganized, scattered, and did not prepare us for NP practice. I would go so far as to say I did not learn anything in the program. They did not find our preceptors. There was a database for us to find our own. When program administrators were contacted regarding feedback throughout the program, they were extremely dismissive and did not take constructive criticism. I do not recommend this program to others whatsoever. - Alum
- Great program Excellent program! Course load was heavy but necessary. No short cuts. Skills were supervised in Person using standardized patients. Never paid for a preceptor, it was not allowed! Professors visited clinical Sites to make sure students were attending. Worth every penny and I am not owing any loans for it. I Will recommend it to anyone any day! - Alum
- Great instructors , very supportive . Stimulating Great instructors , very supportive . Stimulating and challenging clinical resources . Prepared me well for passing my certification exam. Felt prepared for employment upon completion of program . - Alum
- Good hybrid A good mix of mostly online but enough hands on education - Alum
- Better than other schools I spent far too much effort finding clinical placements and almost didn't graduate on time. Some placements were good, others less so, but still better than what students at other schools told me about. - Alum
