Good Program
The program was new when I started, 3rd graduating cohort. Taught the necessities. As with most nursing schools, what is taught in the program is not real life. The preceptorships are where you learn. They placed me but I found ones more applicable to what I wanted to practice after graduation. I would recommend this school, but how much you learn is up to the student.

UCSD NP residency program
They offer students to apply for the UCSD NP residency program and I got in, making it look great when getting a job but also, they provided all clinical rotations.

Manageable work load, preceptors are assigned, you do not pay for preceptors.

Overall a good program
This is an overall good program if you intend to keep working while in school. We had good clinical support throughout the program and while every program does have its challenges with obtaining clinical sites and preceptors, this program made every effort to facilitate clinical placement. Professors are likely the strongest aspect of this program.

Good State Program
I enjoyed the program thoroughly. The faculty was great. I did my preceptorship at the VA.
Along with my previous experience, I felt well prepared after I graduated.
