- NP student experience I was there the 2nd year the program started. Had some issues, but overall was worth it. Unable to work the 2nd year due to preceptorship times and availability, but a good experience and would recommend the program - Alum
- Entry-Level Masters This program was great for me coming from a bachelors degree in a non-nursing field. I appreciated being able to work as an RN while completing the masters portion of the program. This gave me invaluable experience, considering I wasn’t already an RN coming into the program. I also appreciated that the school arranged preceptors for me, taking the stress of that off my hands. I easily passed my certification exam and felt well prepared going into my first NP role. I would definitely recommend this program to others. - Alum
- MSN then DNP My experience in the FNP/MSN program was very good! Returning for the DNP program had more challenges. I believe some of those concerns have since been addressed. - Alum
- Thankful for the opportunity 16 years as a nurse practitioner, I am overall thankful for my education at PLU (attended for both MSN and DNP) and continue to recommend it to others for nursing school. My career molded who I am today, allowing me to help our community as a career. I felt my training put me ahead of other applicants and I felt supported. I worked during my programs and succeeded. I do wish more DNP clinicians would be teach at the doctoral level. - Alum
