5 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- Good school, good memories At the time I graduated from this program , class size was small which was good, allowing for more time to ask individual questions. The instructors and dean of the department I had a great respect for. It will always hold a special place for me as I made many changes in my life at the time including career. - Alum
- Fresh programs have fresh problems I was one of the first post masters students. They placed all the regular students, and we had to rely on networking. One of my preceptors was blocked by the director, because it was "someone I use for my students". That director is no longer over the program from what I understand. - Alum
- First graduating class Excellent experience as first graduating class. One on one instruction at times. Highly recommend. - Alum
- Great school Great instructors! I felt prepared to go into both my exam and real world practice. - Alum
- Amazing college Good teacher to student ratio. Excellent preceptorship help. Terrific preparation for NCLEX and FNP exam. Teachers were always there for me and would help in anyway they could. All the hospitals and preceptors were eager to help with Carson Newman students. It is hard work but doable, this program is intense and you have to be dedicated. That is what you want in a Master’s program because you want to be ready for your exams, and you want to pass your boards. - Alum
