5 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- Good program overall Professors were knowledgeable and classes were manageable, though the workload was considerable. I was fortunate to have a weekend job which allowed me to keep up. There really was no help in finding preceptors; it was cold calling and hoping to get lucky with a yes. - Alum
- Adequate experience I graduated in 2017 so the program may have changed significantly since then. I felt that the program was adequate and cost effective but certainly was disappointed in the program’s assistance with securing clinical opportunities. - Alum
- It’s good but with some interests Its cheap and great! However they will need to replace the teachers there. I witnessed some interesting and concerning negative reactions from the teachers towards students. The program itself is doable. - Alum
- MWSU PMHNP Focus was more geared towards FNP until the last 2 semesters where program had Psych focus. Overall the instructors were helpful and friendly. I already had preceptors arranged so did not need assistance with that. Passed boards on first take. Have recommended program to a few others who had a good experience overall as well. - Alum
- Good experience overall. Great teaching staff. MSU teaching staff is profession, helpful, and caring. No significant issues finding clinical placement. I did all my hours with regional providers. I was able to work through my degree. Full time for the first year and part time for the second. Mostly online with a few campus days. MSU’s program was high quality and low cost. I would do it again. - Alum
