  • provided the necessary foundation in psychiatry I had an unfair advantage, being in emergency medicine I had access to multiple mental health facilities. I have established prior relationship with some of the facilities and was able to negotiate a preceptor position. Despite this, going to an out of state school required much more administrative paperwork compared to a local school. I would recommend anybody going this route to be prepared to you, vigilant on securing a preceptor site as early as possible, and get all documents in order way ahead of schedule. - Alum
  • New Program I attended this school from Dec 2022 until Feb 2024. This was a very new PMHNP program with a lot of glitches. The exams were very difficult and not much guidance from faculty and management. A lot of the students in my group were unnecessarily stressed out. I hope the program has now been refined and updated. - Alum
