Ratings & Reviews §
9 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- Mostly cons Tuition went up each semester, so budgeting was difficult. They switched nursing program directors in the middle of my program and it seemed very disorganized. For example, the instructor showed up one day and told us they were just asked to teach the evening prior and had no materials prepared. For the money it cost for this program I would think the instructors would be paid better and lined up ahead of time. Also, I believe it was the national nursing program director came to visit our class one day and seemed more concerned with her trip to the Hawaii campus than she was at listening to our questions and concerns about the transition of directors. She brushed off all of our concerns and said "Okay I'm off to Hawaii!" Good for you. We are still sitting here with unanswered questions, dissatisfied with her responses. - Alum
- Weekend classes While I was working in an ICU, I was able to trade my Sundays for the Saturdays that I needed off for the program. My fellow didn't that worked 9-5, Monday through Friday didn't need to change their schedules. - Alum
- Prepared me well for my first role as an NP This program prepared me well to pass the certification exam. I felt well supported throughout the program. - Alum
- Easy to Navigate The program was well laid out, with easy-to-achieve milestones - Alum
- Good program The program was very focused, and encouraged learning through hands-on projects and activities, rather than spoon feeding data through lectures that would likely be forgotten. It was a very good experience. - Alum
