• Good program Program is overall satisfactory but much work needs to be done in assisting students with preceptors. - Alum

• A lot of work, outstanding academic / clinic f cus From discussion with my peers- thus is the best program / superior in comparison with other. A lot of work! Real world experience - they payed for outside people to come in tha we can practice on (sensitive part of the exam that we couldn't practice on each other). Classes was in depth. - Alum
• Education experience While most of the didactic work was taught by NP's or Nurse Educators, there was one which, at that time, was not. That course lacked clinical significance, which was difficult. The faculty acted on our complaints and set up an adjunct study lab component to compensate for this deficiency. 2 of my internship placements fell through, so I secured them on my own with Dr's I knew. Being a small school, one was able to know the instructors very well. After completing my Nurse Practitioner courses, I stayed on to get a post Master's certificate in Nursing Education. I worked a full time job throughout my NP program until it came time for the internships. Due to the time frames offices are open, I opted to find an every weekend position, which paid me a full time wage. I had been working a M-F 8:30- 5:00 position prior to that, outside of a hospital. All in all this is an excellent program, with instructors who are very responsive to student concerns and feedback. - Alum
• It was a great experience but needed better preparation I was with the first group to attend and graduate from the program and it still needed improvement in preceptorship and job preparation. However the faculty were awesome and my education was good - Alum
