5 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- UC Davis Overall great experience and the cost was affordable. I understand now the program is very expensive any students graduate with significant debt. The program now does find preceptors for the students - Alum
- Good Program Overall, a good program from a reputable school. Since courses were shared with the physician associate students during my time, the class structure was blocked system by system (ie. Learned about everything cardiac, then everything GI, etc). They allowed us to fill out a form with our rotation preferences and interests; but when it came down to it, it was mainly the physician associate students who had rotations in their specialty of interest. Of my class, only one or two of the nurse practitioner students were able to rotate through a specialty. - Alum
- overall, experience was good. I had to find my own preceptor at the time as UCD did not provide preceptors. the program was manageable as some of the assignments were online. I was able to work part time during the program. - Alum
- Good Program UC Davis schedules all your preceptorship and clinical hours for you so you don't have to worry about a thing. You even get to do a rural health rotation in Eureka where they provide housing. - Alum
- Complete package Clinical placement was a part of student fees Excellent and experienced clinicians as faculty. Good interdisciplinary practicums. Nice campus with many reserves available. - Alum
