- Go elsewhere I was able to continue working part time basically as my job and clinical hours were during the same time. If you were absolutely unable to find a preceptor whatsoever, they did help in a pinch, but this was not encouraged. You are not allowed to do clinicals in the department you work in. Staff was available to approach but were not helpful with the material. We were often told if we didn't understand something, we should go to youtube and watch videos or purchase other books. Test prep was non existent as the blueprint only included every topic in the unit basically. You must double down and be ready to learn everything on your own and are frequently reminded this is how "graduate learning" is. Others I've known that went to other programs had more help and actual lecture. This program has no lecture content. - Alum
- Tough program, But worth it. The program was difficult, but appropriately so. Advanced practice nurses are managing complex patients with a multitude of disease processes. The professors would be doing the community a disservice if they weren’t making sure we were prepared for the real world. Price of admission is definitely reasonable and being close to home was a big bonus. Last I checked , board pass rate was 100%. - Alum
