- Before online courses I graduated my f n p twenty years ago, well, before there was teleconferencing for classes. I drove one hundred and twenty five miles in one direction, three times a week to attend class. The only time I missed class was the day of world trade centers were hit. Despite the distance, i struggle to accept these new entry levels grads who spend more time video conferencing? Then attending hands on classes. I appreciated my education, and I worked very hard. I am very nervous to see the generations who focused their education online. - Alum
- Clinicals There was some uncertainty in clinical placement but was ultimately placed by university. For peds, I was assigned a family practice due to limited preceptors. - Alum
- NP school experience The program prepared me well to work as a provider after graduation. I was working as RN while also studying full time. - Alum
- Good Value Solid program. Was mostly remote with a few in person events. Made it easy to work and complete school at same time. Biggest downside was preceptor placement. Would not allow students to go to preceptor that charged. Did have available preceptors that the school could connect with but being mostly remote there was not a wide swath so students had to find their own. - Alum
- MSN, post MSN certificate PMHNP, and DNP Completed all programs at the school due to the flexibility of their programs to working adults with family. Great instructors who were invested in training skillful providers. - Alum
