3 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- A learning experience. WV Wesleyan is a great school with wonderful instructors. The first time I needed a preceptor it did not go well. I was extremely busy in my personal life and the placement was not a good fit for me at all. I sat out that semester and went on for the next semester and smooth sailing. It was Dr. Light who helped me through that traumatic experience. It was a learning experience that I will never forget. I learned so much from my preceptor and feel that experience has helped with my practice today. - Alum
- Love Wesleyan Prior to attending West Virginia Wesleyan College, I was enrolled at a program that was failing. I was accepted into Wesleyan's nursing program and was able to obtain my BSN and further my education and get my MSN. By no means is nursing school easy, but at Wesleyan, the faculty want to make sure you, not only succeed in the program, but in life. I absolutely love Wesleyan, and having that part of God's plan was amazing! - Alum
- WVWC FNP program Hello! I went to WVWC for my BSN and MSN and will probably get my DNP there eventually. I really loved my MSN program professors. I was not able to work full time and do MSN, but I knew other people in the program who did. I had a 4-month-old at the time and it was just too much for me. I paid $0 for my preceptorships and my professors helped me find different preceptorships for each category needed to graduate (women's health, family practice, etc.). Overall I highly recommend WVWC nursing program in general. Passed my board exams both times with flying colors. - Alum
