9 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- It was a rewarding experience. I felt prepared I had secure preceptors for my clinical rotation by myself. Though I was not charged for it, it would have being nice if the school assisted with securing preceptors. We paid a lot of money to attend Catholic University which is a private school. - Alum
- Catholic I received both my Master's ( in Primary Care) and post- Masters certificate (Acute care) at Catholic. I highly recommend both programs. The experiences prepared me for the positions I accepted as a NP. Educators were all excellent, across the board - Alum
- Good experience Preceptorships are hard to find, school doesn’t help with placement. Program is demanding so working part-time is the best scenario. - Alum
- Excellent Program My experience at Catholic University was perfect for launching my career in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing. I received the necessary knowledge and practice skills through excellent professors, preceptors, clinical placements and thesis guidance. - Alum
- PNP Certificate Program Tried to do my clinical at Navy Bethesda. Instructors were not supportive of me doing them there. My clinical at the free clinics were not all that helpful. The ones at Bethesda Primary Care were excellent- variety in both ages, number of patients seen, and diagnosis was very fulfilling. One of the classes required, I am blanking on the Title. But we had to go into the community and do a report on a water treatment plant. Totally unnecessary- I did that kind of course work in my BSN program years earlier. Waste of money and time and totally useless in any PNP program. I will say, the Pharmacology course and the Pathophysiology course were excellent. - Alum
