3 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- I had a great experience at west conn. I felt well prepared to take board exam at the end of my program - Alum
- Great education great value I’m pretty sure Wesconn is one of the best APRN programs in the state it’s affordable. The professors are excellent. They very much prepare you for the exam. The only downside is finding preceptors is getting more and more difficult but they don’t charge you a preceptor fee. I highly recommend Wcsu - Alum
- MSN/ Adult Nurse Practitioner studies at WCSU As a group we were given suggestions for preceptor placement but ultimately responsible for securing our own preceptors. It was a bit of work and while stressful at the time, I feel it was more appropriate for us to interview potential preceptors, get an idea of what their practice expectations were to prepare us on what to look for when interviewing for a job. Finding your own preceptors ensures that you will be interested in the particular site and therefore fully invested. I feel I was very well prepared for the certification exam and was supported by faculty throughout my education - Alum
