- Overall great! Preceptorship was secured, out of the city but manageable and an overall good experience. Most classes were good, psychotherapy and neuropsychology, was not but I think it’s a diff professor since then. One of the better programs in my opinion! Good reputation in Boston. - Alum
- Prepared My education at Northeastern University was instrumental in my journey. The program not only prepared me to pass my licensing exam on the first attempt, but also gave me the confidence and competence to step into my first role as a psychiatric nurse practitioner and provide care independently. - Alum
- AGNP-C My education at Northeastern served me well in finding a job in primary care in my field (AGNP-C). Excellent preceptors and clinical rotations. I did a residency with the VA after graduating which was very helpful as well and gave me a buffer year to practice with oversight which I would recommend. - Alum
- Highly recommend Not the trauma of undergrad at all. This is a high-quality program taught by experienced and educated professionals who care and work with you to help you succeed. - Alum
- Great school for ADN to MSN but expensive It has been over 10 years but my ADN to MSN experience was overall great. However, if you don't have at least 5 years hospital experience, preferably ER or ICU, I wouldn't recommend it. The education, for the price, wasn't exceptional. At my time of attendance though preceptorship was one of the bonuses of attending there. No additional fee was required and the school found it for you. One clinical rotation lead to a job offer when there were no positions available in the city. If you know where you want to live, try to do NP school near there so you can do rotations at a clinic where you would like to work - Alum
