- Valuable Program For to its proximity, I decided to complete my masters program. The educators and staff were all very professional with a wealth of experience in nursing. At the time I was in person the hybrid due to Covid. I handled all preceptor activities and placement. The program prepared me for my role. - Alum
- Clinical Rotations The classes and assignments helped with preparation as practicing APN. There was no assistance with finding a preceptor so unless you have/know a facility where you can do you hours it may be difficult to complete clinical rotations. - Alum
- WP NP program WP NP program allowed me to work part-time while I was going through the courses one at a time. The learning experience was different since it was an online program but I still gained a lot of knowledge on how to be a nurse practitioner. Finding a preceptor was tough as I had to do it on my own. Fortunately, I have been a nurse for 20+ years so it was not hard to find preceptors. They do offer to find you a preceptor if you cannot find one. But you need to notify them at least 6 months in advance. Overall, I would recommend the program. - Alum
- Would not recommend. Find a better school. Unreliable especially with the woman who did clinical forms. My primary care rotation and pediatrics were slightly helpful in preparing me for my NP role. I got no help to study for boards or find a job. The only thing they did do was try to help me with a pediatric placement, since I paid $1000 out of pocket for a useless OBGYN placement that made profits off lower income Medicaid patients. I complained to the head of the program and was told not to pay for the rotation when I had no other option. - Alum
- A doable NP program Hybrid mostly online program not ideal for everyone or every learning style but doable! Reasonable tuition prices definitely The program/ school doesn’t provide assistance in placing students for clinical rotations, the students need to find preceptors that meet school requirements but those are very reasonable requirements, years of experience and typically setting and practice modalities directly related the program like primary care offices etc. Excellent IT and academic support Flexibility on schedule registration and program completion pace. Most importantly accredited programs with excellent school/program reputation - Alum
