- Great Program! The program was extremely comprehensive and prepared me very well for being an NP in the clinical setting. I would recommend the program to any RN considering an NP program. - Alum
- Best experience My experience with Mercer was amazing. They aided me in finding great preceptorships, and I felt fully prepared to go out into the workforce with the knowledge I received. Also, the faculty was top notch. Couldn’t recommend it more. - Alum
- Program that Supports Your Success The GBCN at Mercer' Cecil B Day graduate campus had an amazing NP program that supported me and helped me to be successful. The class size was intimate, and you were able make excellent connections with professors, clinicians, and classmates who are your future collogues. I was given so much flexibility to prioritize my family and my work when there were needs for them to come first over my education. I was given great clinical placement and had options for clinic all over the state of Georgia from rural placement in Southeast Georgia to the great city of Atlanta and the systems that are present there. I felt well prepared to start my work and felt even more prepared to advocate for myself and my patients in a state that still does not recognize the full practice abilities of the NP. I highly recommend this program to RNs who are looking to go into the NP profession and would encourage you to look into the BSN-DNP program that allows you to acquire your Doctorate and Masters together - Alum
- Wonderful program I was one of the first graduates of the acute care program. My professors were excellent, they were always available, I enjoyed the Hybrid classes. It was easy to find preceptors with their help. I believe Mercer prepared me well for my role as a nurse practitioner. - Alum
- Mercer FNP program Overall, it was a good experience. However, it was very expensive to the tune of 80,000+ for the masters and Nursing to be a FNP. In retrospect, I should have checked out and gone with a less expensive program to avoid so much student loan debt. I worked my butt off and have paid off all my student loans. I am thankful for the education I received, but I think it’s way overpriced at Mercer university, and there are other good programs out there to choose from. You learn a great deal once you start working as a NP. Mercer did totally prepare me for most everything. - Alum
