5 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- There Was A Lot of Wasted Time I had to drive 4-5 hours to get to campus, and often it seemed that there was a lot of wasted time once I arrived there. Many of our activities were poorly explained beforehand, and then we all wasted time trying to figure out what we were supposed to do. I do think they were open about what information we needed to know to pass the exam, and that was helpful. Many of our instructors were highly political and basically demanded that all students follow their political biases, which made many at least pretend to do so. This was totally inappropriate "instruction" on a college campus. - Alum
- Great experience UND was a great experience and prepared me well for NP boards and more importantly a career as an NP. The only thing lacking was more assistance with clinical placements. They tried to help and had some options, but they cover such a huge geography for their students it was difficult to find something locally for me. However, I didn’t feel this was very different from other NP programs. - Alum
- Great Experience I recommend UND as an inspiring school to be part of and for a quality FNP Education. - Past alumna - Alum
- Review At the time I attended acceptance was not guaranteed if you would not secured your own preceptor. I had to arrange for all of my specialty visits and if I could not find a specialist taking students, I simply did not get the experience. Between my program and many review courses from Margaret Fitzgerald I do feel that it allowed me to meet minimum criteria to graduate and begin my career as a nurse practitioner. - Alum
- Good education, but challenging to find preceptors Overall a good experience. Finding preceptors was challenging and stressful every semester. May not have gone there if I knew how challenging it would be. - Alum
